When I was thinking about doing this challenge, I couldn't figure out whether I needed to make an actual gift, or if gift packaging qualifies as a 'Holiday Gift Idea'. Well, I tried to think of something as an actual gift, but nothing was coming to me. So I settled for a gorgeous gift package.
This is the new Poinsettia stamp from IO. How beautiful is that! I whipped out the watercolor paper, two Twinkling H2O's and set to work on a layered flower. After I cut the two layers out, I flipped the paper over and 'sculpted' the petals with a special tool I got from Punch Bunch. A little elbow grease, and the effect is awesome! I love doing flowers like this, especially large, showy ones. I adhered it to some layered Spellbinders Labels to make a gift tag, added some wide ribbon, and that's it. You could put ANYTHING in this gift bag and it would be super special, LOL!Don't forget to check out the other Impression Obsession Design Team's blogs for more holiday gift ideas:
