Sweet cakes

Hello everyone! I haven't been blogging for a while, I know, and it's all because of one light bulb. Yep, my Ottlite craft lamp that I use for crafting as well as taking pictures of my projects burned out and I can't get a good picture no matter what I do. I'm hoping to pick one up tomorrow and resume my regularly scheduled programming, lol!
Here's a card I made a while back using some adorable A Day for Daisies digital images.

LOVE these fruity cupcakes, they look scrumptious! I colored them with my colored pencils.

Hopefully I'll be able to take some good pictures of some of the cards I've worked on last week soon, so hang in there! I'll be back...

Thanks for visiting!

My Angel...

Here's another card made with a Day for Daisies angel digi stamp. LOVE them! Perfect for little girls, and this card is so girly girl it makes my teeth ache, lol! I colored her in with some colored pencils in pretty, soft pastel colors. Lots of Star Dust Stickles for her wings. I decided to cut her out completely (and I forgot to add the halo, darn!) so I could use this pretty bird background paper from Memory Box.
I couldn't decide on a DP for the card front, so I just stamped some little polka dots in matching colors. I printed the 'You're my angel' sentiment from my computer and added a little ribbon tag to the bow. I would've loved this card as a little girl. Pink was my favorite color in the whole wide world and taffeta bows were the BEST.

Thanks for looking, come back soon!

Angel of Love

While browsing Etsy a few days ago, looking at all the wonderful new digi artists popping up I came across this wonderful image from A Day for Daisies. How sweet! I love this artist's unique style. Her angel series particularly caught my eye and I quickly purchased several of them. I couldn't color this angel fast enough and a card came together in no time.
Lots of Stardust Stickles for her wings, some beautiful Kioshi paper and voila! A pretty card.

I love finding new images to color for my cards, and I am so grateful to all the talented illustrators out there who are willing to let us use their images for our hobby. Thank you!

Have a great day!
