Pink Daffodils? In my world they are!

If it were up to me there would be pink daffodils, LOL. I've seen orange and peach ones, but not pink. Which is why I got really imaginative with this card!

I stamped the daffodil image from Papertrey's Year of Flowers set three times on watercolor paper, and embossed it with white. Then it was just a matter of simple wet water coloring with Adirondack reinkers. I cut them out and popped them up with foam tape.

The card front was stamped with PTI's guide lines 2 set, in Hibiscus, Lemon and Spring Moss. No store bought DP at all on this card!
This card is off to my mother for her birthday tomorrow, I hope she likes it!

Thanks for swinging by!

All supplies from Papertrey Ink except Versamark and white embossing powder (Ranger).

  6. This is the most beautiful daffodil card I have ever seen. Seriously!! Had the PTI DT made a card this lovely I would have bought the set for sure. Now, I think I need it because of you. Did you use reinkers to color the flowers and centers? Such a gorgeous effect. I bet your mother was thrilled to receive this card.
