MJM's drawings are probably my most favorite images to color lately, but I have one problem with some of them... I can't come up with appropriate sentiments for them. This cutie is a perfect example. What in the world could I put on the card as a sentiment?! What occasion could this card be used for? I have no idea, but I don't care one bit. It's CUTE and it makes me HAPPY! That's all that matters. LOL.
I've colored little Jill with Copics. The paper is from a DCWV mat stack.
Thanks for stopping by, see you all again soon I hope!
Stamps: Digital image from Digital Pencil Too
Paper: Neenah, DCWV, Memory Box, PTI
Accessories: Martha Stewart simple scallop edge punch, PTI ribbon/button, Copics, wool felt, PTI flowers dies
Gorgeous!! Love the colours.
ReplyDeleteAs for sentiments, this is one of the images now in rubber from Stamping Bella, and Em paired it up with a sentiment that reads "things can only get better".
I made a card using Mo's Toby Is Two image, with the sentiment "Bad Day?" Linda Heavens used "Heard your having another birthday
You could at least pretend to like it" on her Toby card. So this and the other grumpy tots from Mo could definitely work for birthdays!
Really sweet. Love the effect you have done on the trouses.

I used the sentiment "Sorry your day was stinky" from StarvingArtistamps...I love this little "lady" since she reminds me of my own 2-year old! Great card
ReplyDeleteOh thank you, Katarina -- Elaine Hughes told me to check your blog -- Lovely, lovely! And how about for a sentiment something along the line of "It's been one of those days" or . . . I saw someone put "If the princess ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!" Or, "I won't grow up!" (for a b-day card) :) xoMo
ReplyDeleteThis card is adorable!! She looks just like my daughter.....
ReplyDeleteI also love your card with the girl on the tricycle!! That´s my Klara in a nutshell.
Maria ;-)
This is adorable! I love this little pouter...she is just too cute! I think you could even do a belated birthday and say "I am so mad I missed you birthday". Your coloring skills are remarkable.
ReplyDeleteAnd what do you use to cut out these flowers...I love them. Can you use a cuttlebug and Nesties? Thanks for sharing all you lovely cards.
