WMS Birthday Tea Party challenge

Hello everyone, I hope all the mothers out there had a wonderful Mother's Day. Mine was very relaxing, I got lots of time to stamp and color. I saw the 2nd birthday celebration going on over at Waltzingmouse Stamps blog with another fabulous template from the very generous Claire for this adorable Tea Bag Baggie. Of course, I had to join in on the fun. I love all things tea, and it was the perfect excuse to pull out her Afternoon Tea stamp set.

I chose some pretty SU papers to paper piece the tea pot and tea cup. I went back with  a Copic marker to add some shading and dimension to them.

The template was actually pretty simple to cut out and assemble, even without a digital cutter. I know, I know, I am still in the stone age, lol! Soon, I hope, I can get one...

Anyway, a very happy 2nd birthday to WMS and I hope her continued success!

Thanks for looking!

  6. Perfect paper-piecing on the teapot, it almost looks like you colored it and then used the Copic Colorless blender on it to make a pattern!! Lovely colors and such an overall elegant look!
