This week we have a nice sketch by Dawny and I decided enough is enough, I must color up one of the Molly Harrison fairies! This one is called 'Garden of Wishes'. Why haven't I colored one of these beauties before now you ask? Well, I guess because I was a bit intimidated. I was afraid I could never do them the justice they deserve, lol. They really are beautiful.
I colored her with Copics, then cut a separate layer of her wings from vellum. I wanted them to have that slight transparency like the fairy wings in my imagination, ha ha.
Pretty good all in all, I'm quite pleased with the result. Maybe I won't be so afraid to color another one of these beauties up now!
