Tilda with Apple Pie using Card Sketch # Mojo43

I've been wanting to use this sketch from the Poetic Artistry blog for a while, just never got around to doing it. When I stamped this adorable new Tilda I got, I knew she would be perfect for the sketch!

Stamps: Magnolia, PTI

Ink: Versafine, Versamagic, Distress, Fluid Chalk

Paper: Fabriano w/c paper, Cosmo Cricket, PTI

Accessories: Copper brads, Vanilla scented EP, Nestabilities, Corner Rounder punch, Paper Piercing Tool, Cuttlebug embossing folder

Finally! Sara Kay Stamps!

They finally arrived Monday from Sweet & Sassy stamps! I have been wanting these beauties for a long, long time! The detail the artist puts into the drawings is amazing, and Stampavie puts out very good quality clear stamps that retains all of it.
The flowers I added to the top corner were made using Martha Stewart's Hydrangea punch out of a piece of watercolor paper I randomly colored with soft Pan Pastels.
Stamps: Sara Kay by Stampavie, PTI
Ink: Palette, Perfect Match
Paper: Papertrey Ink, HP watercolor paper
Accessories: Nestabilities, PTI satin ribbon, Tombow/SU! markers, Pan Pastels, Scribbles 3D paint

Earthy Sunflowers

I really love this card. It has all my favorite elements. Warm, earthy colors, a little sparkle, simple layout. I colored the sunflowers in with Twinkling H2O's. I used a combo of Cedarwood, Spiced Pumpkin and Blushing Caramel, then colored the petals and leaves with Tombow markers. The 'stitching' around the edges is not real, I have NO patience for any sewing, LOL. Instead, I used a piece of plastic canvas to evenly pierce holes along the entire card front, then I drew faux stitches with a black Sakura Glaze pen. Amazing, huh? They look almost real!

Stamps: Whipper Snapper
Ink: Palette, Distress, Adirondack
Paper: Fabriano w/c paper, PTI, Heidi Grace, SU!, Bazzill
Accessories: Twinkling H2O's, Tombow markers, Sakura Glaze pen, Paper Piercing Tool

Falling Fairy

Isn't this the sweetest little fairy? She's so whimsical, and lots of fun to color. I used a Tombow blender pen with SU! markers to color her in, then added some Stickles to add a little glitter. I kept it pretty simple instead of adding lots of embellishments, because the image is so big. The card size 5" x 5".
Stamps: Stamps Happen
Ink: Palette
Paper: Fabriano w/c paper, SU!
Accessories: Stickles, Periwinkle satin ribbon from AC Moore, Tombow blender pen, SU! markers, Sizzix texture plate

Two Primitive Snowmen Cards

I just love, love, LOVE these snowmen from Inky Antics! Snowmen have been my favorite since forever, and when I ran across these sweeties in my internet ramblings, I snapped them up right away, LOL! The primitive and somewhat folk-y style is so me, they remind me of the snowmen I used to paint and sell on ebay. I decided to do a paper quilt block background with some Cosmo Cricket decorative papers. Simple, yet so effective.
Stamps: Inky Antics
Paper: PTI, Bazzill, Cosmo Cricket, Fabriano w/c paper
Ink: Palette, Distress
Accessories: Cream Twill Tape, Tombow markers

I added the pine needles to the twig tree in this one, I thought it needed them.

Stamps: Inky Antics

Ink: Palette, Distress

Paper: Fabriano w/c paper, PTI, Bazzill

Accessories: Cream Twill Tape

CPS # 75 Sketch Challenge, Bloomin Hearts

This stamp set from Inque Boutique posed a bit of a challenge for me because it is HUGE! But I loved it, so I kept trying until I came up with something I liked. I only used about a third of the largest stamps, and layered some of the hearts to give them some dimension.

Stamps: Inque Boutique
Ink: Distress, Palette
Paper: Fabriano w/c paper, Cosmo Cricket, Bazzill, PTI
Accessories: Dew Drops, Wavy Edge scissors

Autumn Sheep

I seem to have had a bit of a slump lately. At least I think it was. I may have just been overwhelmed with the amount of stamps I bought recently! I didn't know what to do with all of them! I did make a few cards in the past week, just haven't gotten around to posting them. This one however, I made last night because I just got some wonderful new stamps from Whipper Snapper. I love their images, but put off buying them for a long time because they are IMO a bit pricey, and the shipping is too. I can't afford their stuff very often! I've been wanting this sheep stamp for a long time, and when I saw they were offering unmounted rubber, at a bit of savings, I went for it.
I think the image pairs beautifully with Cosmo Cricket's new Haunted paper collection. LOVE it! Icouldn't find a card base in any color that fit well with the overall feel of the card, so I took my home made tea stain mister, and the Walnut Ink spray and spritzed white Bazzill cardstock lightly, then wiped off the excess with a paper towel, then ironed it. Voila! Instant aged paper!

Stamps: Whipper Snapper, Papertrey Ink sentiment
Paper: Bazzill, Cosmo Cricket, Fabriano watercolor paper
Ink: Palette, Adirondack reinkers, Distress inkpads and reinkers, Tsukineko Walnut Stain mister
Accessories: Nestabilities, Sepia Paper Glaze
