It’s Monday…ugh.
I struggled a bit with this card. I left the window stamp for last, because I just wasn’t sure how to incorporate it into a layout. I knew it looked like a church window, and Tilda was too big to sit on it, and Tilda wouldn’t do that in church now, would she?! LOL. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a church pew stamp for her to sit on, not even a simple bench. (Must remedy that ASAP). Sooooo, I drew my own bench. Problem solved! Now Tilda is sitting primly listening to the choir on Easter Sunday.
I water colored the window with Adirondack reinkers using Butterscotch and Rust (my fave combo for lit windows). Then applied Liquid Glass over it, to make it look like a real window. Love the effect. I want to try this window colored with jewel colors on the top, for a leaded glass effect.
Hope it inspires!

ReplyDeleteI ADORE these latest Magnolias you've been using and the cards you've made with them are fabulous and yes, very inspiring.
I think you did an awesome job on this. Nice job on the bench too. If I tried to draw ANYTHING, it would be a disaster. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented with this water color look technique! What a great inspiration! Hugs, Mona
