Fox? Squirrel?

Hello everyone! I tried pretty hard to stay away from the pastel colors this time, I do tend to stick with my favorite colors and next thing you know, all my stuff is starting to look the same, lol! SO I broke out the bold, bright colors and went with it.
As the title of this post says, I'm not sure what kind of animal this is, but isn't it CUTE?! This little guy is a digital image from Wee Stamps.

I colored him with my colored pencils, thinking more 'fox' like colors than squirrel, only because I like the reddish browns better than greys.

I die cut some Creatables flourishes, punched and shaped some little flowers to add some floral sprays in the corners. A big fluffy seam binding bow finishes the card.

So how'd I do without the pastels?

Thanks for visiting, come back soon!

  3. Ha, ha - he's a squirrel but you can still get red squirrels in some parts of the UK, so you're OK. Fab card! Hugs, Marie xxx

  4. Adorable card! And in Iowa, where I live, all the squirrels are red! Where my sister lives in Minnesota, they have grey ones, which look strange to me! lol

  6. Oh my goodness, this is so precious! I love those little flowers. I looked on that website you provided to see the punch, but I can't find it. Do you happen to know the name of it, please?

I love the colors you used on this card, too. Are those professional pencils, or the everyday kind? One of these days I'm going to teach myself how to shade, etc. Your cards are really pretty.

  7. Oops, sorry. I see now that it's the hydrangea punch. (A lot of the flower punches look so much alike).
